Winners of the new minibus naming competition - Rory and James!

Andy Buchanan, Harpenden Connect Chair, attended a recent assembly at Aldwickbury School with the Town Mayor of Harpenden, Kirsti Wenn, to present the prizes to the students who successfully chose “Hetty” as the name for the new minibus for the Harpenden Hopper community minibus service. Hetty Hopper has recently commenced service on the Hopper route and passengers are getting used to a nice new vehicle to take them around the town. Well done to the Rory and James, students at Aldwickbury School, the winners of the Harpenden Hopper new minibus naming competition! Andy said, “We not only enjoyed meeting the prize winners but we also got to be part of a very informative and interactive school assembly run by the very capable and engaging headmaster Paul Symes.
